The Nature of the Beast

So it's becoming increasingly evident to me that as much as people say... I accept everyone, it's untrue. Seems if you are truly different in something you are compartmentalized into somewhere subconscious until they can either process you or completely get rid of you and your belief. Peace the unattainable notion that countries of all different cultures and creeds can simply get along is ridiculous especially when America's own citizen's cannot practice what they want the entire world to do. Can we strive for it.... YES. I think it's essentially we believe there is something more to our lives... whether you believe in Heaven, Peace, Immortality or simply going to sleep, it's good to have a goal or a dream.

I've realized my beliefs... and I've gotten some serious flack over it... and i don't understand, well I do but I still have questions. Like my beliefs... are mine, how is it necessary to argue that or poke fun at... I'm all for a good parody or a nice joke on one's self... if the other side can take it too... And there is where we find our proverbial "crack" if you will. It's that age old saying of "You can dish it out but you can't take it". Personally I'm more than willing to admit problems and poke fun if someone else can do the same... but people become increasingly defensive when you poke fun or point out problems... I am guilty of this as well. It's like as soon as you do anything they stop listening and start forming a comeback/rebuttal..........

And with one Skype message or one twitter... it's all fine again. Amazing how the world works lmfao

WARDROBE TRUTHS

I VOTED!!!

So I popped the cherry on my first election.... I went down into town and waited in line, then got a very nice elderly gent who guided me to my "station" and told me what I had to do the patted my shoulder and let me vote... I loved pressing the button on my candidate which if you haven't read the box below was McCain/Palin. I felt sooo American in that moment... Like I had earned that right to vote, it was so exciting... I actually voted faster than my mother lmfao. But I walked out without getting my "I Voted" sticker.

So I figured as long as I'm supporting a candidate I might as well show it off a bit... so we went over to the Republican headquarters right down the street and got a sign for the yard and a sticker and the woman gave me a button and said congrates and buttoned it on me.... She was a really sweet older lady, who was more "republican" than I was... and even though some of our views differed she was just the picture of kindness.

So now my street has a sweet mix of McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden signs and it feels like election season! Everyone no matter who they are voting for is getting all excited about the big day.... and whoever wins i'm happy for them and I can't wait to see their run as President.

So Fucking Tired of It

ok look i wanted to stay quiet not involve anyone in my personal feeling on the election... but it's becoming increasinly harder to do. People want to make you feel like shit so they can have some pitiful sense of accomplishment... "BELIEVE LIKE ME OR YOU'RE AN IDIOT" what a ringing fucking endorsement... I'm not preaching to you why are you fucking preaching to me... this election is putting strain on families and friendships... each party hates the other for being exactly like them.

I am voting for McCain/Palin this election...

do I think they'll win... I have no clue.... will i think the world is going to end if Obama wins... NO. I am going to go with the flow, vote for the party I feel represents me best... even if we have some glaring discrepancies. but I am done... people have different beliefs and I support that... I don't think you should think like me. I'm not going to argue with you until you see my point or hate me so much you can't look at me. What is the fucking point... there isn't one. So the little jabs or links poised at an underhanded insult are uneeded because i then find myself stooping to that level as well.... degrees or not.... experience or not.... God or not.... this election has been nothing but a game of mudslinging. The reporting is bias (on both sides I might add) people run with stories that aren't completely true or paint someone with less than the facts.... No one is a terrorist... no one is a cunt.

suddenly racism and sexism are socially acceptable... but both parties preach they same ignorance they hate. I'm done. I've been undecided for most of this election and just yesterday found the party I felt most comfortable with. I don't support their stance on Gay Marriage... but no party supports it no matter how much Joe Biden alludes to that on Ellen... And Palin has no right suggesting a federal law for something that is a states decision.

Abortion... I don't agree with controlling people's actions... but Obama's stance with that and his record don't have me impressed quite frankly..... While on the other side McCain/Palin are in essence Pro-Life... so between the two evils I'd rather there be no abortions than side with someone who hestitated to vote against and 'after delivery' abortion... do i think everyone should agree with that... NO.

those social issues have been pushed back this election... more is said on the war and economy...

I don't agree with everyone who says that the hate is only projected on one side... I see it on both but i do honestly think that the media (generally) tends to favor the left... and therefore their stories tend to be poised in that fashion. Does that mean there's no good media NO. NBC's Dateline did a great interview tonight. But I also think that anything and EVERYTHING can be contradicted... because no one believes the same... because people have different morals... and that if you side with one party you are lumped into everything that party believes.

People undermine the thought that goes into the election (for those that actually look into who they are voting for) but then when you give that much thought they say you are giving your vote far too much importance... but if you don't vote or vote for a 3rd party they say you are wasting your vote... who are they to say that? If they''re life is not the carbon copy of yours then how are they in any position to say "You're this or that... for doing this or that." it kills me.

What I am for is people... being able to be people without taking that right from anyone else.

I am done... I don't want to hear rebuttal... this wasn't a calling for argument... it was a simple venting of emotion from a first time voter, who feels the weight of the above.



I AM YOUR FRIEND YOU ARE MINE... I DON'T CARE WHO YOU'RE VOTING FOR... OR WHAT YOUR MORALS ARE... I LOVE YOU FOR YOU AND FOR YOUR IMPACT IN MY LIFE.... NOT ON THE ISSUES

EARLY VOTING in "Pro-America"

So I am going to try and early vote tomorrow at the Culleoka Fire Station... I am almost sure who I am voting for, but they'll only win by a slight preference. I gotta tell ya I am fired up about this election but not for the reasons most others are.... I like both candidates... although I think their parties agenda's are getting in the way of them doing what they need to do.

I like Obama and Biden, I think they are nice men who like everyone have a past... same as McCain and Palin. I think a lot of stuff gets blown way way out of porportion. Do I think Obama is a terrorist.... NO.... do I think he's the next Messiah... NO. But on the other side Do I think Palin is an idiot... NO.... Do I think that she is going to fix all of our problems.... NO. (the fact that i have a huge lesbian crush on her isn't affect my vote FYI). I think one was who i wanted to be and one is who i am.... even though i am strongly against some of their policies.


Do you see trend in my vagueness? Good it's intentional. Look love or like your candidate, it's not my job to change your mind or talk down to you for not agreeing with me... respect America and Respect People's rights to vote... that's all I ask... ya know there are 8 candidates running.


So Go America... GO MCCAIN/PALIN GO OBAMA/BIDEN ... NADER, BARR, KEYES, BALDWIN, JAY, MCKINNEY, etc.

- Bought crappy eye glasses for my Sarah Palin Halloween Costume
- Returned Crappy eye glasses because they were "broken" so I got an exchange for non broken crappy cheap eye glasses

- Conducted interviews at my college for a Documentary I'm doing on the "2008 Election" which i am now thinking about calling Nader 08.... or maybe MisElection

- Got my order at Burger King accidentally doubled

- Watched this vid on youtube...
